Analysis/Definition
In this stage, the business requirements and
the selected software are compared and analyzed to determine how the
system will be utilized. The current process flows and software
functionality are matched to the business requirements. This
information is then used during the conference room pilot (CRP) to
simulate the daily, weekly, monthly and annual processing and how
the system reacts. Performing this structured walk-through will
identify areas of potential reengineering and identify best
practices.
